Mixed Pollen and Grasses - a Useful Remedy in Hay fever Season and Spring
Have you noticed fine yellow powder on your car lately? Pine pollen season is upon us, and with it comes hay fever and cold-like symptoms. If you're already noticing blocked noses, bleeding when you blow, itchy throats and puffy eyes, chances are the pollen is getting to you.
This is always the time of year I have clients contacting me about hayfever, and how to get themselves prepared for the spring onslaught.
Isopathy is a branch of homeopathy where remedies are made of the exact substance that causes the symptom. Sol, X-Ray, Dog and Cat Hair remedies are all examples of Isopathy. We have remedies called Pine Pollen, or Mixed Pollens and Grasses which is a combination of the pollens and grasses most likely to cause problems for people.
Mixed Pollen and Grasses is a favourite of mine because it works 90% of the time. If it doesn't, it means you need a specific remedy individualised to you. Or, something else is going on. You could have an overproduction of histamine in your system, or leaky gut, or autoimmune issues. You could have a congested liver or toxicity, or ongoing lung or sinus issues.
If this is you then you need constitutional treatment.
I always recommend clients try Mixed Pollen and Grasses if they don't appear to have other issues going on, and go from there. If it doesn't work, then book a consult. If it works, then you’ve saved yourself the cost of a consultation!
Directions:
Try Mixed Pollen and Grasses 30C daily for one week and if you notice a difference, it’s the remedy for you. You can then take it as often as you find you need to repeat it to keep the symptoms at bay. However, if you find you’re only getting relief for a short time before you have to take it again, get in touch with a homeopath as you may need a higher potency or a constitutional remedy as well.
