How To Use And Store Remedies
Here's how to store and take your remedies, and general information and FAQs on how it all works....

Remedies need to be kept out of the way of sun and electricity. Warmth will weaken them and so will wifi and electronics.
The best thing to do is to store them in the bathroom cupboard in a cool dark corner, or as far away from your phone as you can in your handbag. If you're outdoors, just try to keep them out of direct sunlight.

A dose is a pillule (the little round balls) or a drop of liquid. Most homeopaths will tell you to take 1-2 pillules or 1-4 drops of water. That's just so you can make sure you got your dose.
Homeopathy works on the frequency of doses not on the quantity. This is a bit different to other forms of medicine where the more you take, the higher the dose!
Here's an example: You could take 1 drop of a remedy every 5 minutes for 20 minutes. That works out to be 5 doses. You could also drink the entire bottle at once, and that would only be one dose.
It's best to keep your remedies out of the way of the kids, but if they do get their hands on them chances are they will eat all the pillules in one go, and only have given themselves one dose.

This is a bit tricky as every circumstance is a little different, and every person responds differently. Basically if you take a remedy and the symptoms ease, you've got the right remedy. You can then take that remedy when the symptoms come back, and keep taking it until it stops making the symptoms go away.
When the symptoms are gone, you stop taking the remedy.
If the symptoms don't go away, it's not the right remedy.
A good rule of thumb for something that's quite intense is one dose every 15 minutes for up to 6 doses. By then, you should know if it's the right remedy, and if it's not you can move on.

Animals and kids tend to respond far more quickly to homeopathy because their bodies are purer. So, their symptoms will often clear more quickly and with less doses. But the rule of thumb is the same for adults, kids and animals - even plants.

As long as you follow the 'Rule of Thumb' dosing and stop when the symptoms have gone away or if you reach the maximum doses, you won't take too much.

Intensity Levels are just rule-of-thumb dosing for different situations. Because we are all different, we respond differently to remedies. When you’re starting out though, this can feel really confusing.
Intensity levels are safe guidelines you can follow to make sure you’e got the right remedy and the right amount, while you get the hang of it. Some of my most seasoned clients still use these rule-of-thumb guidelines to help them out.
